What is Perimenopause?
Perimenopause is the lead up to a women's final menstrual period, the menopause. Perimenopause can cause symptoms similar to, or, even more intense, than those of menopause. due to fluctuations in the female hormones oestrogen and progesterone.
Often the first sign of perimenopause is charges to your period, but common symptoms include hot flushes and mood swings.
What Can You Do?
You can make lifestyle changes to help minimise the effects of the symptoms of perimenopause!
- Eat a well balanced diet
- Get active! Regular physical exercise
- Take care of your emotional wellbeing.
- Get adjusted!
